Susan Anschutz

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 1989 and spent two years in Albia teaching 4th grade and coaching high school girl’s volleyball. I soon followed in my mom’s footsteps and became a Title I Reading teacher in Keota. My husband and I moved to Pella in 1995. Wayne is an engineer at Pella Corporation, and I have been teaching Reading Plus at both Lincoln and Madison Schools. We have two sons, Will and Ben. Our family enjoys the outdoors. We like to bike, go boating, and play all kinds of water sports. I also love spending time with family and friends and traveling to warm places. I am an avid reader and a loud Hawkeye fan.
