I went to Pella Christian High and moved on to Iowa State University. I graduated from ISU and went to work at the Blank Park Zoo. Working at the zoo, I was called to become a teacher. I teach science and I am excited to pass on my passion for the sciences to the students in the Pella Community School District. Some of my hobbies include: insect collecting, wildlife rehabilitation, and practicing Judo. My husband and I have two children.
